Acting on behlaf of a property company, Peill & Company have recently completed a freehold sale of the former Kwik Save supermarket on Holker Street, Barrow-in-Furness to local healthcare and pharmacy group J N Murray of Barrow-in-Furness. The local planning authority have granted planning consent for a change of use of the site to relocate the pharmacy's headquarters and distribution centre to the site, and provide a health centre, to be occupied by various healthcare providers.
The property extends to a total in excess of 14,000 sq ft, has a 75-space car park, and is close to the junction of Abbey Road with Holker Street, opposite Barrow's main railway station.
