Argos take new store in Barrow-in-Furness
Argos Extra have opened a new out of town store on Walney Road, Barrow-in-Furness in the refurbished former MFI store. The Extra store is in addition to the company's exisiting store in Dalton Road in the town centre, and occupies the former MFI unit.
The old MFI had been closed after being damaged by fire and was subsequently refurbished to create 3 new retail units. The third unit was re-occuippied by MFI before their collapse into administration, and the unit has subsequently been re-let to Argos.
